Our founders spent over 15 years working as developers and saw 2 problems colliding - code is growing at an exponential rate (100x over the last 10 years) and, with the advent of microservices, dev teams are more isolated when they should be collaborating more.  AWS & Google have had more service outages over the last year than the 10 previous years combined.  Simply put - software development velocity is grinding to a halt.

We enable dev teams to automate some of the most-painful problems, understand the risk of a code change, and then automatically fix some of these problems.  We spent the last year working on the core tech and are launching soon at MLB, NBA, ByteDance, and a few start-ups.

We have a great team - talent that has built state-of-the-art AI systems at Tesla Motors, built incredible products at Stripe & Chase, and built the tech stack powering machine learning at MLB. About the Role

You will be responsible for the client side of our web applications.  You will handle new feature development and integrations - driving the next stage of the company's growth.

If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a backend developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve the users experience.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable code that meets our company’s needs.

What to Expect

• Be responsible for driving end-user experience - interviewing customers, understanding what they want to see, and crafting an experience that hasn't been built before.
• Design and build an intuitive front-end UI/UX experience for devs to love.
• Translating the insights you gathered into building a real product - and one that raises the bar.
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
• Work with a hyper-focused team that is tackling a huge problem.

Who You Are

• Front-end software engineer with 3+ years of experience
• Strong experience in Typescript, Javascript, CSS, HTML, React, Node.JS or other Javascript frameworks
• Experience integrating with internal and third-party services
• Strong knowledge of building restful APIs for internal and external products using REST, GraphQL, and other methods
• Some knowledge of cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Demonstrable ability to work across multiple teams to deliver an end product
• Desire to build internal solutions and have lead development of enterprise level applications
• Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to understand their systems, build custom solutions, integrate with these systems and deploy the solution
